When cold winter is shifted by sunny spring, Veronafiere exhibition centre in the city of Verona turns into festive wine event, which entices a lot of liquor conoscenti to taste favorite drinks and open some new ones. This year, spring came to Verona on April 2-nd, when Vinitaly wine fair was opened. Italian International wine fair took place in 1967 for the first time, and since then it became a significant event in the field of global winemaking industry, and now is considered the most outstanding wine fair in the world. Thanks to this event, all “Made-in-Italy” products are associated with the highest quality ever (it mostly concerns liquors). As compared to previous years, this spring has brought to Verona more than 110 various nationalities, - 45 thousand persons in total were present at Vinitaly closing, which is a record for Vinitaly (for instance, last year this event grew up approximately 43 thousand guests). Total amount of this year fair is 150 thousand operators, 4200 of which are suppliers from 30 different countries. This wine fair gave to each distributor an infrequent opportunity of introduction and communication with famous wineries’ representatives, conduct of negotiations with them, and probably, formation of beneficial contract. Among numerous visitors, there were Anna Kalchenko, - the head of Sommelier Company, Svetlana Tsybak, a Foreign Economic activities Director and Olga, Marketing department manager at Vinitaly. Notwithstanding the fact, that Vinitaly wine fair lasts for just five days, you will catch a huge volume of information and a great number of ultimate experience. If you never got a chance to visit this magnificent event, but at the same time you consider yourself as genuine connoisseur of high-quality wines, you would not let yourself miss this fair next year!
